The Shipment map first appeared in the Call of Duty franchise in 2007 with the first Modern Warfare. Since then, the relatively tiny map has been a fan favourite because to the intense and fast-paced action that allows players to rack up endless kills.
However, Modern Warfare 2 gamers are experiencing a severe issue with the current version of Shipment, which makes the map extremely unpleasant.
It’s spoiling the experience for them, and the ‘annoying’ problem may be resolved with a simple modification from the creators.
Shipment gamers disclose the most ‘annoying’ part of the game.
Taking to the ModernWarfareII forum, member JewelsVEVO chose to express their frustration with the Shipment map in MW2. They claim that playing Shipment mainly entails spawning into a container and then being ‘blocked’ by other players standing stationary in enclosed locations.
Many rivals like to camp inside the little containers to hide out of sight, making it difficult to get past them. As competitors are blocked by their teammates, adversaries can simply take up kills.
According to one user in the forum, certain players “put deployable cover in the spawn container,” making you a sitting duck unable to escape hostile gunfire.
How can the developers improve shipment in MW2?
For users in the discussion, the cure is simple: Infinity Ward should disable player collision. In principle, this should allow competitors to easily run past one other.
It would be handy on all of the little maps and allow players to maintain a position without annoying their teammates. Shipment clearly has a lot of support in the CoD community, but fans believe the map might use some minor adjustments to take it to the next level.
Call of Duty gamers say that crossbows are broken in MW2
Crossbows have been quite the power in Call of Duty in recent months, whether in Warzone or Modern Warfare 2, since snipers have been on the decline.
This year’s crossbow may be one of the most popular forms of the bolt-action weapon we’ve ever seen, whether as a vital step in the grind for Orion camo or as a one-shot alternative to a sniper in the battle royale. So it’s a shame the crossbow in MW2 is now fully broken.
The crossbow in Modern Warfare 2 will not finish off downed foes
With Warzone 2’s Crossbow being one of the finest one-shot snipers in the game (due to the explosive rounds), players have become accustomed to the arrow-firing rifle in MW2.
However, ahead of the Season 4 update, gamers have discovered that the bows are fully broken and will not record any damage to a fallen player (using the Survivor perk).
On Reddit, someone demonstrated firing three bows at a TimTheTatman Operator adversary while attempting to self-revive, all of which inflicted no damage despite the arrow piercing the character and being clearly trapped in their torso.
Fans of Modern Warfare 2 ridicule the devs over Crossbow mishaps
The original clip poster said that this was not a one-time incident, but that it happened often in public games. “I noticed it after it happened twice in 2 different games,” they explained.
Fans were quick to insult the devs, using their typical strapline of “The most advanced Call of Duty in history,” to take a cheap joke.
Tim just has extra padding that helps protect him,” another fan commented, while another linked to the recent Call of Duty and Skyrim ‘crossover’ by writing, “Needed an arrow to the knee.
