Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to have NO physical buttons
Apple may update its iPhone 15 series in a number of significant ways. The company is probably going to replace the iPhone’s Lightning port with a USB Type C port.
All of the devices are rumoured to include Apple’s new Dynamic Island feature, while the base models are expected to include a 48-megapixel rear camera—a significant improvement.
Now, a reputable source named Ice Universe has suggested on Twitter that the iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Ultra may not have any buttons at all. If true, this would represent a significant design shift for Apple.
The claimed source has made the renders available, which purport to show the iPhone 15 Pro Max from every aspect. One of these demonstrates the solid-state haptic buttons that will be on the flagship phone.
According to the photos, the iPhone of 2023 will feature a chassis that is more curved, a camera hump that is more obvious, and a slightly broader profile.

In addition, a USB C port is shown in place of a Lightning port. Unless the business limits the compatibility to MFi-certified charging cords, as the leaks suggest, this upgrade will make it simpler for everyone to use any charger.
Similar to the iPhone 14 series from the previous year, it appears to have a twin punch-hole display on the front.
Recently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo asserted that the iPhone 15 Pro models might not have physical buttons. Similar to the home button design found on the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and a few other models, the new solid-state buttons would assist in responding to a user’s touch without necessitating a person to physically press the button.

The volume and power buttons of two high-end iPhone 15/2H23 new iPhone models may adopt a solid-state button design in favour of the physical/mechanical button design, according to Kuo’s most recent survey, he wrote on Twitter.
According to the referenced source, the devices will contain taptic engines that are “placed internally on the left and right sides to offer force feedback to make users feel like they are pushing real buttons.
This means that Apple will have extra room within the smartphones to accommodate a larger battery. The quoted source claimed that the future iPhones would contain three Taptic Engines instead of the one vibration motor found on present devices, albeit this is not currently confirmed.
According to prior introductions, the iPhone 15 series is anticipated to arrive on sale in September or October of this year. Thus, the debut event is still quite a ways off. Four new models, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Plus, are anticipated from the firm. The name of the fourth one can be either iPhone 15 Ultra or Pro Max. Currently, there is no confirmation of this.
