Before the match against England on Sunday in the Women’s T20 World Cup, India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur acknowledged that the team’s bowling has been a worry.

In the women’s T20 World Cup’s history, India has never defeated England, and they will be trying to do so in Pool B’s championship match against Heather Knight’s squad.

India chose to bowl first after winning the toss for the day. As reported by Cricbuzz, Kaur stated that they decided to field first due to the weather and fielding circumstances. According to the India captain, chasing would be a superior strategy on Sunday.

Shikha Pandey replaced Devika Vaidya on the team, according to Kaur, who also disclosed one other change. The India captain then acknowledged that her team’s bowling has been an issue for them in the first two games because, in her opinion, they have given away too many loose balls.

Moreover, Kaur stated that they wanted to maintain the momentum and that the fight was vital.

“Due to the weather and the situation, we’re going to bowl. The best choice today will be chasing. There is only one change: Shikha replaces Devika. Our bowling has been a problem because we’ve handed up loose balls in the last two games and need to improve there.

We want to continue playing the way we have up till this point because it is a crucial game, said Harmanpreet.
