A panicky situation could result from last-minute phone calls from pals inviting you to a party or event. One, you’re nervous about what to wear, and second, no amount of foundation or concealer can hide flaws if your skin isn’t feeling well.

Every now and then, we all want to step back and up our skincare game, and DIY’s make the ideal mixtures for an immediate glow. Digvijay Singh, a holistic health coach, provided a three-ingredient face pack that, when used as a last-minute remedy for acne and pimples, can brighten your skin and make it look healthy.

What goes inside a face mask?

1/fourth cup of tomato juice

1 tablespoon of cucumber puree

1 teaspoon of papaya puree

Apply the paste on your face after thoroughly blending the ingredients. Let the juices properly enter the pores by leaving it on the skin for 30 minutes. You should first wash it off before applying makeup. The softness of the skin makes it the ideal canvas for makeup.

Do a patch test first, though, to rule out allergies.

Tomato being high in the vitamins C, A, and K, can help manage acne if you are not sensitive to tomatoes. It can reduce facial oil production, exfoliate dead skin cells, and leave your skin feeling rejuvenated. In addition to this, it can reduce inflammation.

Cucumber offers you an immediate glow and helps with dry, dull skin. On the other hand, papaya offers hydration, which helps with a variety of skin problems.

How to Prep Your Skin Before the Party?

Step #1: Cleanse, don’t strip

Look for a facial wash that controls excessive sebum production without drying out your skin, Rub your cleanser into your skin in circular motions to remove oil, grime, and pollutants. Avoid using strong scrubs or substances that irritate. To soothe and stop breakouts, look for calming substances like niacinamide and tea tree oil.

Step #2: Put on a mask

Shea butter and other moisturising ingredients are added to nourishing cleansing masks to help soothe irritation and revitalise the skin.

Step #3: Mist and tone

Toning helps minimise the appearance of enlarged pores and removes any remnants of debris that could clog them,” says the manufacturer of a mild toner, which feeds the skin with antioxidants and relaxing substances.

Step #4 Moisturise Completely

Oily skin types have no need to skip this step because their dermis also needs to be hydrated. Your skin will be effectively hydrated with a mild, water-based moisturiser that won’t clog your pores.

Step #5: Use facial oil as a primer

Facial oils aid in increasing the body’s defence against free radicals, reducing inflammation, and rejuvenating skin cells. Don’t overlook your neck. Your neck also requires hydration. Dab a few additional drops of your face oil onto the nape of your neck.

Step #6: Eye care

In order to prevent creases while using concealer, it’s crucial to hydrate the region beneath your eyes. Massage your under-eyes gently with a tiny bit of revitalising eye cream, or boost the effectiveness with an eye mask.
