At CES 2023, Asus ROG will unveil every new gaming laptop

At CES 2023, Asus displayed the whole ROG product lineup for 2023, which includes the laptop series ROG Flow, ROG Zephyrus, ROG Strix, and TUF Gaming. The business also displayed the future ROG gaming PCs in small, mid-tower, and super-tower sizes.

Additionally, the company has displayed the ROG Swift OLED 1440p monitor, which is billed as the first 1440p OLED display in the world. It features a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms reaction time, and a maximum brightness of 1000nits.

The company also displayed the ROG Swift PG24UQ monitor, which has a redesigned heatsink system and matte finish in addition to uniform brightness.

Additionally, the business has optimised ventilation and made intelligent voltage optimization to prevent screen burn-in available on the ROG Swift OLED 1440p display.

Asus displayed items like the AIMLAB-created ROG Hone Ace and ROG Harpe Acer gaming mouse pad and mouse.

The business also previewed the ROG Azoth mechanical keyboard, which features a Windows/macOS toggle switch, a USB Type-C connector, a three-way control knob, and an OLED display for system information.

The product also includes a DIY (do it yourself) switch lubing beginning kit in addition to Swapabble ROG NX switches with an actuation force of 49gf on the keyboard.

Features of the Asus ROG 2023 laptop

Next-generation CPU from Intel (13th Gen) and AMD (Ryzen 7000), as well as next-generation GPU from NVIDIA, will be available in the next Asus ROG line of laptops (RTX 4000 series). Additionally, these laptops will include a Nebula display and a sophisticated thermal design.

Asus is utilising liquid metal as a thermal compound combined with a cooling system with seven heat pipes, a full-width heatsink, and a vapour chamber to enhance cooling on the next ROG series of laptops (depending on the model). Three fans are included in certain high-end models, and some models also have integrated dust filters to keep out dust and fibres.

For better airflow, the business has also added full-surround vents. The system will turn off all the fans and provide a 0dB ambient cooling solution when the temperature of the CPU and GPU is less than 50/60 degrees Celsius.

Nebula HDR displays with up to 1024 dimming zones and a peak brightness of 1100 nits are also available on a few ROG laptops. The ROG Nebula HDR display will be available on the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16, ROG Zephyrus G14, Scar 16, and Flow 16 laptops. NVIDIA Advanced Optimus will also be available on these laptops.

ROG Strix 2023 series from Asus

The ROG Strix Scar 16/18, ROG Strix G16/18, ROG Strix Scar 17, and ROG Strix G17 are some of the models in the Asus ROG Strix 2023 series. These laptops will have a web camera on top of a 16:10 aspect ratio display.

ROG Strix Scar 16/18 (G638/G834) in 2023

The new ROG Strix Scar 16/18 will be powered by a next-generation Intel CPU with a 65W TDP maximum and a 175W TGP maximum next-generation NVIDIA GPU. These laptops will include a tiny LED Nebula HDR display, up to 64GB of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM, up to 4TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD, a 90Wh battery, and tri-fan cooling technology.

ROG Strix G16/18 (G614/G814) in 2023

The next-generation Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU are also used in these gaming laptops. Up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM operating at 4800 MHz and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage are features of the ROG Strix G16/18.

These models also have a three-fan cooling system and a Nebula display with a maximum brightness of 500 units, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a reaction time of 3 ms.

The ROG Strix G17 (G713) is a laptop powered by the upcoming Ryzen 9 CPU and RTX laptop GPU. This model includes Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, DDR5 RAM, PCIe Gen4 SSD, and a QHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate.

Zephyrus series by ROG

The business will offer the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, a laptop with a 16-inch primary display, as well as the ROG Zephyrus G16, ROG Zephyrus M16, and the ROG Zephyrus G14 under the ROG Zephyrus series.

The 16-inch Nebula display on the 2023 ROG Zephyrus G16 (GU603) will have a 16:10 aspect ratio, 240Hz refresh rate, and 3ms of reaction time.

The laptop contains a 90Wh battery, a 3D mic array, and six speakers with dual force-cancelling woofers. In a similar vein, the 14-inch Nebula HDR display on the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) will provide QHD resolution and a 164Hz refresh rate.
