In 1960, he faced the camera for the first time in ‘Hum Hindustani,’ a Filmalaya Production House venture, where he portrayed a small role of a police inspector. However, a friend’s encouragement reignited his hope, leading him to persist for a few more months. This perseverance eventually bore fruit, marking a turning point in his life.
