The Apple Watch Series 8 is now available for $329
If you’re planning to buy an Apple Watch right now, this is an excellent deal.
If you are more concerned with pricing than anything else, now is a fantastic time to buy an Apple watch. Amazon is once again selling the Apple Watch Series 8 with a 41mm casing and GPS for $329, a $70 savings that is almost a record low. This goes for all colors except Product Red, and you will also find deals on cellular and 45mm variants.
The Apple Watch Series 8 may be a small upgrade, but it remains our favorite overall Apple watch. You can expect fast performance, an outstanding display, great fitness tracking, and rich health features such as blood oxygen monitoring, ECGs, and crash warning, along with a temperature sensor for sleep & reproductive cycle tracking.
More significantly, there is a solid ecosystem that includes a diverse selection of third-party applications as well as a tight connection with other Apple devices. You can easily swap AirPods between your iPhone or watch, or unlock your Mac.
Aside from the iPhone need, the only catch is that the Series 8 is many months old. We wouldn’t be shocked if an Apple Watch Series 9 is released in September. The newest iteration, though, is considerably simpler to justify at $329, and it will readily handle watchOS 10 when it becomes available later this year.
And, for the time being, this is undoubtedly the greatest bargain in the lineup. While the second-generation Apple Watch SE is less expensive at $249, the price difference is tiny enough that the 8’s always-on display and more powerful health sensors may be worth the extra money.
